"How do you handle compliance?"

We take care of every compliance requirement that comes with employing someone locally: the contract, right-to-work checks, statutory benefits, tax filings, and keeping all of it current as the law changes.

"What if the person doesn't work out?"

The contract runs month to month with no exit fee, so you are never carrying a role you no longer want. Tell us and we'll start again on the search: there's no recruitment fee the second time either, because there wasn't one the first time.

"What's the catch with £0 recruitment?"

There isn't a separate one to find. We earn on the monthly fee once someone is actually working, which means we only make money if the hire sticks. A recruiter is paid whether they stay a decade or a fortnight.

The like-for-like number, without the desk

If the role would have been remote anyway, take the London desk out and the same hire costs £36,745 a year, or £3,062 a month. That's the fairer comparison against us, and it's the one we'd use in your quote: it still leaves a gap of £1,987 a month.

Year two is cheaper, because the agency fee doesn't repeat

The recruitment fee lands once. From year two the office-based figure drops to £3,400 a month and the remote figure to £2,750. Any comparison that quietly charges you a placement fee every year is not being straight with you.

Why there's no Employment Allowance here

Smaller employers can offset up to £10,500 a year against their employer NI bill. At the size of business we usually work with, that allowance is used up long before this hire: so the £3,000 is a real marginal cost. If you are small enough that yours isn't exhausted, deduct it.

Rates current for the 2026/27 tax year. Employer NI at 15% above a £5,000 secondary threshold, frozen to April 2031. Auto-enrolment employer minimum is 3% of qualifying earnings above £6,240, which would be £563: we have used 5% of salary as a more representative figure for an employer of this size, and the lower figure is the floor if yours pays the minimum. Apprenticeship Levy at 0.5% applies to pay bills above £3m after a £15,000 allowance. Recruitment at 15% sits at the bottom of the standard 15–20% range and reflects junior and administrative roles. London desk taken from 2026 serviced-office pricing, where value areas run £400–700 per desk and the City runs £700–900. Independent benchmarks put statutory on-costs alone at 14–17% above gross salary, consistent with the salary, NI and pension lines above.

Worked examples to start a conversation, not a quote. £1,075 is our smallest contract and a more senior hire costs more, because their salary is the largest part of the fee. Tell us the actual role and we'll build the real comparison before you commit to anything.

How it works

Four steps, not four months

01 Tell us the role

Who you need, and what kit they'll need on day one.

A short brief on scope, seniority and kit is all we need to start.

02 We find, hire, equip them

Sourced, screened, contracted and kitted out before day one.

You interview and choose from our shortlist; interviews are run by you, not us. We handle sourcing, contracts and equipment.

03 We run it, monthly

Payroll, leave, compliance and support, every cycle.

One invoice covers salary, statutory costs, HR and IT support.

04 You scale, freely

Add or pause people, no new entity, no renegotiated terms.

Every new hire runs on the same terms as your first.

The terms, in full

No minimum headcount. No minimum term. No exit fee.

Most providers in this market want ten or more people on the books before the economics work for them, and many price on a twelve-month commitment. We built Re:invent the other way round. The terms that apply to your first employee are the terms that apply to your fiftieth, so adding someone is never a negotiation and leaving is never a penalty.

Who actually employs them

We employ your people through our own companies

Your people are employed through our own companies rather than subcontracted to someone else's. You contract with a UK business; we carry the employment obligations at the other end. Every person is covered by £20M of global coverage, written into the same monthly fee: not negotiated separately as an extra.

Every contract runs on software we built

Every contract runs on software we built ourselves, covering payroll, leave, approvals, documents and equipment records in one system. The employee and client portals are in final testing, so your people will manage their own leave and you will see invoices, headcount and documents without having to ask us for them.

Children’s homes in Nepal

Re:invent has funded food and everyday supplies at children’s homes in Nepal, and intends to help with schooling as the business grows. It is giving as we can afford it rather than a fixed share of revenue or a running programme, and nothing is added to your fee to cover it.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What does the monthly fee actually cover?

Finding the person, employing them, equipping them, paying them, and handling their HR, plus £20M of global coverage. There is no tier above it and nothing held back as an upgrade. The only thing ever quoted separately is non-standard equipment, and we agree that with you before anything is ordered.

Are there really no recruitment fees?

Really. We source and screen candidates against your brief and hand you a shortlist with our assessment, and we charge nothing for it: no placement fee, no finder's fee, no percentage of salary. If you'd rather bring your own candidate, that's fine too; the fee is the same either way.

Do I need to set up my own company where they're based?

No. We employ them through our own entities, so you can take someone on properly without registering a business, opening a payroll or appointing a local director.

Is there a minimum headcount or a minimum term?

Neither. The terms are identical whether you employ one person or fifty, and the contract runs month to month: no lock-in, no early-termination penalty, no volume commitment.

Who owns the equipment?

We source, ship and track it as part of the monthly fee, and we recover and redeploy it when someone leaves: so you're not chasing a laptop across a border. Ownership and return terms are set out in your contract when we scope the role.

Are there any costs when someone's contract ends?

Sometimes, depending on the country. Some jurisdictions apply statutory notice periods or severance pay when employment ends, regardless of who the legal employer is. We check what applies before you commit to a hire, so it's never a surprise when a contract ends.
